WORKSHOPS
2026 Two 3-day workshops. Monument to Rare Coincidence is a commentary on the periodic flooding of the monument’s location due to the combination of a very high tide and strong westerly gale. The area surrounding the southern half of the piece temporarily becomes a moat. The center of the northern half of the piece temporarily becomes a well. Across two 3-day workshops spaced a week apart, teams of 10 participants built the entire 10 meter x 20 meter x 4 meter dry stone installation. Conception and layout by Dan Snow.
